Helping Children Build Confidence, Discipline, and Resilience in Middleton, MA
At Middleton U.S. Taekwondo, one of our biggest goals is to create an environment where children can grow not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.
Recently, we had the opportunity to partner with the Great Oak Elementary PAC through our MUST Kids Program, and we are incredibly thankful for the support from the students, parents, and school community who participated.
As part of this partnership, we were proud to present a $770 donation to the Great Oak PAC. More importantly, it gave local children the opportunity to experience Taekwondo in a positive, structured, and encouraging environment focused on confidence, focus, respect, and perseverance.
Why Many Parents Are Turning to Taekwondo

Many families today are looking for activities that provide more than just entertainment. Parents want programs that help children:
- Build confidence
- Improve listening and focus
- Develop self-control
- Learn respect and discipline
- Stay physically active
- Build resilience and perseverance
- Grow in a positive social environment
Taekwondo gives children opportunities to challenge themselves, overcome difficulties, and continue improving step by step.
At Middleton U.S. Taekwondo, students are encouraged to work hard, support one another, and learn how to handle challenges with a strong mindset.
A Positive Experience for Great Oak Students

Throughout the Great Oak PAC partnership program, students of all skill levels participated together and showed incredible effort and enthusiasm.
We were deeply honored to receive a recommendation letter from Great Oak Elementary PAC Co-President Cory Ryan, who shared:
"Students not only had a great time, but they also began building valuable life skills such as discipline, focus, respect, and self-control."
The letter also recognized the welcoming environment and the positive impact the program had on children and families within the school community.
More Than Kicks and Belts
While children enjoy learning martial arts techniques, Taekwondo training also helps students develop habits and life skills that can positively impact school, sports, friendships, and daily life.
Our goal is not simply to teach students how to kick and punch. We aim to help children become:
- More confident
- More focused
- More respectful
- More resilient
- More willing to challenge themselves
At Middleton U.S. Taekwondo, we strongly believe that consistent effort, perseverance, and a positive attitude are skills children can carry with them for life.
Our school motto is:
"Fall 7 times. Get up 8."
That mindset is something we strive to teach every student every day.
Thank You to the Great Oak Community β€οΈ
We sincerely thank all of the Great Oak students, families, teachers, and PAC members for allowing us to be part of this partnership.
Community programs like this are meaningful because they create opportunities for children to grow while bringing schools, families, and local organizations together in a positive way.
We look forward to continuing to support families throughout Middleton, North Andover, Boxford, Danvers, Peabody, and the North Shore community.
